Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 October 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you and Makary Hryshkin, sole proprietorship, ul. Solec 24, 00-403 Warszawa, Poland (NIP 7011284631, REGON 543127585), referred to as "we". By creating a SplitDone account or using the app, you accept them.

1. What SplitDone is

SplitDone is a mobile app for recording shared expenses and calculating who owes whom. It does not hold, transfer or process money. Any payment between members happens outside the app, and the app only records that you marked it as settled.

2. Price

SplitDone is free to use. All features currently in the app are available to every user at no cost, with no advertising. If we ever introduce paid features in the future, nothing you already use will be moved behind a paywall without clear notice in the app.

3. Your account

4. Groups and other people's data

When you add someone to a group or send an invite, you confirm that you have a reasonable basis to share their name, email or phone number with us for that purpose. Members of a group can see the group's expenses and balances. Only add people who are part of the shared expense.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use SplitDone to harass anyone, to store content that is illegal, or to try to access other users' data, overload the service or reverse engineer it. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Accuracy of calculations

Balances are computed from the amounts you and your group enter. Currency conversion uses European Central Bank daily reference rates, which can differ from the rate your bank applies. Rounding differences of a cent are distributed deterministically so group totals always match. SplitDone is a convenience tool: check the numbers before transferring money, and raise any dispute with the other members of your group.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running, but it is provided "as is" without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We may add, change or remove features, and we may discontinue the service with at least 30 days' notice in the app, during which you can export or copy your data.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for disputes between members of a group. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Polish or EU law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in. Disputes go to the competent court in Poland, or to the EU online dispute resolution platform.
